This painting was created in the studio with cold wax and oil from photos and studies done on location of Pierce Island in Portsmouth. In this series, "Tidal Rhythms", I painted abstracts along with the landscapes to reflect the feel of the area with the Memorial Bridge and Naval Shipyard in mind. It is on a gallery wrapped canvas and set in a gold leaf floater frame.
